Week two: Formatting

There are three types of formatting in Word, character, paragraph and page. This week we are going to focus on Character and Paragraph.

Character formatting is apply to the characters in the text. Examples of character formatting are font, font size and color.

Paragraph formatting is apply to individual paragraphs. Examples of paragraph formatting are tabs, indentation and line spacing.

We are also going to learn manual formatting. By that I meant, the user selects the text and makes a change to it. Most of the character and paragraph commands are found on the Home Tab.

Check out week's two page for a video of this weeks exercise.
