Advance Word

Welcome to Advanced Word!! This week we are going to learn about built in styles that affect character and paragraph formatting. These styles are automatically set in the document once the style has been selected. The user does not need to manually change the format. There are a couple of benefits to using the built-in Heading styles. By using the heading styles, Word will create a document map found under the Navigation pane that allows the user to quickly move through a document. Word will also automatically create a Table of Contents based on the Heading Styles used in the document.
In our exercise this week, we are going to insert a Table of Contents with just one command based off of the Heading Styles that were used in a document We will make changes to the document that will effect the layout of the Table of Contents. Again with one command, the Table of Contents will be updated to display the new changes,

Check out the page labeled Table of Contents for a video of this week's exercise only will the data for the exercise.
